Today's Potsdamer Platz Valbert is centrally located in the village center of the Meinerzhagen district of Valbert. Where tranquillity and quality of stay dominate today, there used to be the village's traffic hub: two important country roads once crossed here - the east-west connection from Meinerzhagen to Attendorn and the north-south axis from Herscheid over the Ebbegebirge mountains.

Today, the square presents itself as a deliberately decelerated recreational space. Benches invite you to watch the village goings-on, the fountain creates a pleasant atmosphere and the landscaped flower beds bring greenery to the village center. The sculptures Ingrid and Fred set artistic accents and give the square a personal, recognizable character.

Potsdamer Platz Valbert thus successfully combines local history, design and everyday life - a small but central meeting point in village life.
