The trail starts at the newly created hiking parking lot on the Königsfarnweg and runs - partly over wooden footbridges - through the unique moor and heathland landscape of the Ebbemoore. The trail is marked with a white fir tree on a black background and crosses the Wülbche river on a 30-metre-long wooden footbridge and wanders through the alder swamp forests alongside the stream.
