Stürmische Zeiten erlebt unser Wald im Sauerland. Orkane vor und nach dem Großereignis Kyrill 2007 haben ihm ganz schön zugesetzt und arge Schäden hinterlassen. Der Waldfeenpfad am Hängeberg vertieft den Einblick in den Lebensraum Wald in Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft.

Der Waldfeenpfad ist ein idealer Familienwanderweg mit 3 km Länge und einer bequem zu gehenden Strecke mit hoch interessanten Stationen für Kinder und Erwachsene. Die Waldfee als Symbol des Briloner Waldes gibt interaktiv und informativ Anregungen und Denkanstöße zum Begreifen dieses wichtigen Naturraumes vor unserer Haustür im Wandel der Zeiten.

Wer länger gehen möchte, kann den Themenweg Geologischer Sprung in Angriff nehmen - Start/Ziel ist identisch mit dem des Waldfeenpfades.

Directions

Vom Parkplatz mit der Infotafel geht es über die Straße am Landgasthof Gruss vorbei. An der nächsten Weggabelung den linken, geschotterten Weg nehmen. Nach ca. 100 Metern erreicht man schon die 1. Station - das Baummikado. Dann im Uhrzeigersinn den kurzen Anstieg Richtung Station 2. Anschließend folgt man immer der "kleinen Waldfee" rund um den Hängeberg, bis man wieder zur 1. Station gelangt.
