The beautiful castle in Amecke has been owned by the von Wrede family since 1338. The house mentioned in 1397 as "castrum Adenbecke" was divided into an upper and lower house in 1419. The upper house came by marriage to the families von Heigen or Heggen and Droste zu Füchten. The lower house remained continuously in the possession of the von Wrede family, who bought back the upper house in 1758, thus reuniting the entire property.
Unfortunately, the castle is not available for public tours. But, you can celebrate here wonderfully.
