The excursion destination for garden lovers - at Bruchhausen Castle Manor. Eight small, lovingly designed theme gardens can be experienced barrier-free. In the farmer's garden, old village perennials and vegetables have been gathered. The Kneipp corner informs about almost all Kneipp medicinal herbs and in the nectar garden it hums and flutters. Roses, not only in beds but also on arches and in trees, are the main style element.
In the rose nursery "Rosenbogen Heidrich" about 200 varieties beguile in summer with rich colors and sweet fragrance. Visitors admire tiny dwarf roses as well as climbing and wild roses, proud noble roses or modern shrub roses. Not only rose experts enjoy rare historical or English varieties.
A rarity is the rose "Weg der Sinne" ("Path of the Senses"): This particularly hardy species is named after the Rothaarsteig - Bruchhausen Castle and the Heidrich Rose Arch are located directly on the well-known long-distance hiking trail and the Bruchhauser Steine natural monument. Garden lovers can also buy all the rose plants.
A cozy estate café in typical Westphalian style belongs to the estate. In summer, excursionists can enjoy a view of all the blossoms from the café garden. In winter, a cozy atmosphere prevails indoors with tea and mulled wine. "Rosy" accessories and souvenirs are available in the small shop "Rose Cottage".
The Sauerland Blossom Garden also hosts regular specials.
