Petersborn - youngest Brilon district
In 1954, about 70 sideline farms were established at Petersborn on an area of about 30 hectares for the expellees from East Germany.

In order for the residents to establish a small agriculture, each house had a stable and a large plot of land. In the course of time, part-time farming was abandoned. Today the former stables are used as sheds or living space. The field name Petersborn was already mentioned in a document in 1565. The word part Born means source.
