Pelton-Turbine

Water mill site of the 16th century. In 1916, an 8-hp Pelton-Turbine replaced a previously unknown coupling of two top-shafted water wheels connected in series. The turbine plant remained in operation until 1963 and was reactivated as a turbine plant in 1990. Pelton-Turbines are little known in Westfalen-Lippe, this is currently the only operational and listed turbine.
