PARK OF THE SENSES
A special place to relax, to enjoy, to switch off. Away from the playgrounds and action areas of the Sauerlandpark Hemer, you can forget everyday life in the 'Park of the Senses`, find back to your own center, enjoy our gardens.
The path can start at the rock garden, to the sunken garden or the English garden room. Exploring the details is worthwhile. So many hidden specialties for eyes and senses are hidden in this part of the park. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the 2,000-square-meter Hemeraner Hans-Prinzhorn maze, one of the largest in NRW, designed according to the classical models of the Renaissance. It forms the centerpiece of the approximately 17,000-square-meter 'Park of the Senses', which is embedded in a wildflower meadow. If you have a little more time, you can also visit the beekeepers, who also present their work in the Park of the Senses.
You can relax in the Oasis of the Senses, right by the kiosk, which awaits visitors with coffee and pastries on beautiful weekends.
