You will find here a typical cultural landscape, which was created by the increasing use of natural resources for the iron producing and processing industry since the 18th century. The then and now intensive forestry, the work of the carters, the charcoal burners and the miners shaped the shape of the charming landscape. In the Ebbegebirge this landscape is not only protected, but here you can actively experience the interaction of man and nature.
