Simon Kemper has been making music since he was 7 years old. The effect of music, sound and vibrations on people has always interested him. Now he has set up his own business as a music therapist in Suttrop.
His previous professional activity in the musical instrument industry led Simon Kemper to music therapy via detours. Since 2021, he has also been training to become a physiotherapist and is studying "Therapy and Nursing Sciences" alongside his training. Since February 2023, Simon Kemper has been working part-time as a music therapist and wants his clients to live out things through the many positive effects of music, sound and vibrations that we otherwise hold back or that we may not even have been aware of. "It's about connecting and communicating with yourself.
The whole thing works completely free of incense or superstition. It's more like wellness for the soul," explains Simon Kemper.
In its therapy room in Suttrop one can select so far from three treatments and/or experiences. A sound shower ("bathing" in sounds and vibrations, about 30 minutes), a great sound massage (deep relaxation by means of sounds, about 60 minutes) or autogenic training (a state of self-hypnosis by means of musical instruments, about 60 minutes). Further treatments are planned for the future. Simon Kemper is happy to offer his experiences not only to private individuals but also to companies, associations or in cooperation with other health providers.
