The Jübergturm was built for the Hemer State Garden Show 2010 on the site of the former Blücher barracks. Its hyperboloid construction of wooden rods won an award and was mentioned in the trade press.
Since the end of the horticultural show, the tower has been located in the Sauerlandpark Hemer, a large leisure park with large themed gardens, various playgrounds, a skate park and beach volleyball court and plenty of space for cultural events such as concerts or festivals.
