As the carvings show, wall slating was not common at that time. Around 1990 it was renovated and is registered in the list of monuments of the town.
The inscription on the threshold of the upper floor reads:

The inscription above the entrance door reads:
OVAM DONUS THE Q.VAE VID IN VENIENTIRUS PAXINTRATNIS
BY JODOCUS VIENNA THIS HOUSE IS BUILT FOR THE SECOND TIME
(translated from the erroneous Latin mutatis mutandis: Joy to this house and to all we see arriving - peace to those entering).
