The ensemble consisting of the Kallewege farm and the "Schnitterhof" presents a Westphalian building style characterized by the half-timbered style. As a former place of accommodation for the reapers (harvest workers), the rustic and stylish monument now serves as a recreational oasis for vacationers, as a meeting place for seminar participants and as a culinary contact point for gourmet lovers.
By means of extensive work, the former building, which is located in Sommersell near Marienmünster, was constructed from 5673 individual parts in the heart of Bad Sassendorf's spa gardens. Since its reopening in 1982, the hotel has always shone in new splendor without losing its historic charm.
