Hittenbrücke (Goat Bridge)
The bridge was built around 1910 as a segmental arch bridge made of reinforced concrete. It replaced the original wooden bridge over the Hönne. In its time, the goats were collected from the city in the morning and driven by the keeper over the bridge to the Weide. In addition, the path also led the goats to the buck station.
The parapet railing has art nouveau motifs.
The Hittenbrücke was restored through the commitment of Menden citizens.
