Portrait of an old town - Medebach
Medebach (first documented in 1144) is one of the oldest towns in the Duchy of Westfalen.
On the basis of 14 descriptive panels (German and Dutch), you will gain insights into the town's history on this circular route through the oldest settlement areas of the town.
The approx. 1.5 km long path leads past old half-timbered houses, idyllic streets and colorful gardens. You will learn many interesting facts about the Hanseatic past, the jurisdiction as well as the church history of Medebach.
