The Open Mind Place Heidentempel is a resting place for hikers and is located directly on the Heidenstraße, a trade route between Leipzig and Cologne that is over 1000 years old.
At the transition between forest and clearing, the wooden structure consists only of a round roof slice on wooden pillars with seating for pausing and settling down. An incision with a view towards the treetops and the sky symbolizes the darkness of the forest and the light of the fields. The Heidentempel is a place of exchange with nature and other people.
