We perceive the people who come to us with their wishes, goals and potentials as a whole. In addition to teaching technical skills, we therefore also support the personal development of the participants. Our goal is to prepare them individually for the requirements of the job market and to position them successfully there. The essential goal of this process is the development of self-determination and a sense of responsibility. The ESTA-Bildungswerk has been pursuing this basic orientation since its foundation.
In terms of content, ESTA-Bildungswerk focuses on the conception and realization of future-oriented, business-oriented and customer-specific educational measures, primarily in the vocational field, as well as on comprehensive coaching and successful placement in work or training. In the reduction or the avoidance of unemployment the ESTA-Bildungswerk with its various initiatives sees a main focus of its work.
The qualification and placement projects of the ESTA-Bildungswerk reflect the requirements of the modern professional and working world. Through close cooperation with companies, we obtain the necessary view of problems and develop concrete solutions for ever new challenges in dialogue with our partners. The optimal interaction of theory and practical relevance in our work guarantees a competent preparation of the participants for the performance requirements of the labor market.

History of the ESTA-Bildungswerk
In 1982, ESTA-Bildungswerk was founded as an independent, non-profit educational institution. In the same year, it received recognition from the Minister of Education and Cultural Affairs as a state educational institution under the North Rhine-Westphalian Continuing Education Act. The name ESTA is derived from the parent company of the European Citizens' Academy (ESTA), which was based in Bocholt until 2008.
