Most people consume substances such as alcohol or cannabis solely for pleasure. It becomes critical when consumption fulfills a function, for example to switch off from the day or to deal with emotions. This is where the addiction prevention work of the Health Department comes in. Our aim is to strengthen individual "protective factors" such as social contacts or a fulfilling hobby (keyword "resilience"), so that everyone has the chance to lead an addiction-free life.
