The imposing abbey church in Meschede was inaugurated in 1964 according to plans by the Cologne architect Hans Schilling. The impressive exterior of the church is matched by the interior, which has been theologically and liturgically consistently shaped in the wake of the Second Vatican Council. The"House of Silence", inaugurated in 2001, is also architecturally impressive.
Guided tours of the monastery are available upon request.
In the abbey restaurant you can have an extensive breakfast in the morning. In addition to lunch and dinner (warm cuisine), coffee and cake from the monastery's own pastry shop are offered in the afternoon.
The oasis is equipped with everything that a seminar business needs and offers atmospherically everything that promotes and enables encounters. Thus, the range of possible offers and contents is very wide.
The rooms and the technical facilities are at the disposal of the groups by arrangement to make a good work possible. Likewise, we can offer a guided tour of the church and monastery and ask that this be announced accordingly in advance.
