The five-kilometre circular trail in Oberschledorn offers beautiful views of the artists' village of Oberschledorn and the surrounding area. On mainly gravel paths, the walk leads along the Schäferhege on the Sauerland-Höhenflug. The rest area with its panorama board invites you to take a short break. The route is also well suited for a family tour with baby carriages or a Nordic walking tour.
The circular hiking trail is marked throughout with the white/black O1.From the KUMA, opposite the church, we walk to the village center at the bridge. Here, at the large hiking post, we start the approx. 5 km long circular hiking trail by crossing the bridge along Petrus-Cramer-Straße. After about 150 m, we turn half-left uphill towards the sports park. After the ascent, we see the shooting hall of the St. Antonius Schützenbruderschaft on the left. Further slightly uphill is the Rohwiese sports park. After 2 km, at the crossroads, we leave the asphalt path and turn right. After the wood on the right, turn right across a meadow to the next field path. We follow this to the left and then come to the "Sauerland-Höhenflug". We follow this and after approx. 1 km come to the next crossroads, which we follow to the left. After about 200 m, the "Medebacher Bergweg" joins this path. Continuing downhill, we return to the village.
