This hiking parking lot is an ideal starting point for the local hiking trails A1, A2, and A3, “Around the Weddel”; it’s also a great place to start your hike to the “Aussichtspunkt Hasenkammerblick” and its shelter. At the “Weddel” hiking parking lot, a bench and table invite you to take a break, and a nature park information board provides details about the surrounding area.
In the adjacent “Schülerwald” (school forest) belonging to Medebach’s elementary schools, students plant a tree every year as part of the Forest Youth Games.
You’ll find the hiking parking lot at the Weddel in Medebach. Follow the signs starting at Kampstraße (nursery).
