The Warstein World
Take a look behind the scenes at the Warstein Brewery!
As one of the most modern breweries in Europe, the Warstein Brewery was deliberately designed from the outset as a visitor-friendly brewery. This offers you the unique opportunity to take a close look over the shoulders of the Warstein brewers.
Discover 270 years of brewing tradition in the Warstein World. The brand exhibition shows highlights from the brand's impressive history with over 200 exhibits. Old barrels, glasses and bottles, labels and advertising motifs tell of the early beginnings and today's successes. The impressive gable wall displays more than 1,000 historic bottles. Absolute highlights are the Arrows racing car on display and works of art by Andy Warhol.
Your brewery tour starts in the unique 360° multimedia theater. What's special about it: an electronically controlled rotating platform moves guests directly to the current scenes, so that you are always "right in the middle" of the action and involved in the story.
You then take a ride on the visitor train through the brewery and experience the brewing process up close. You will ride through the brewhouse, past fermentation tanks, see the bottling process and experience how the beer is transported by rail. Because Warstein has its own rail siding. A modern onboard information system explains everything worth knowing in words and pictures on large flat screens.
After the tour is before the "product test": After the tour, you taste free drinks from the Warstein portfolio for two hours. The Warstein crew will be happy to inform you about the different types of beer.
The tour (without the tasting) lasts approx. 75 minutes and is multilingual (D, NL, ENG).
The brewery tour is also particularly accessible for guests with disabilities. If the weather is nice, you can also enjoy the beautiful Biergarten in the countryside.
You can find special souvenirs in the Warstein Shop, which is open during the brewery tours. The Warstein World with the Warstein Shop is also accessible to guests who are not taking part in a tour. You can also stay overnight comfortably in the guest house in the forest park right next to Warstein World.
