A variety of signposted hiking and biking trails start from the market square.

You can find your way using the information boards and trail markers, or digitally at our information terminal. The team at the Tourist Information Office will also be happy to give you tips for your outdoor adventure in the “Medebach” European Bird Sanctuary!

For example, discover the Medebach Mountain Trail, the Gelängebachtal Nature Trail, or the Medebach Loop Trails. The historic Hanseatic Trail “X13” takes you all the way to Küstelberg and the Rothaarsteig.

Guided hikes, bike tours, and city tours also depart from the market square—the staff at the Tourist Information Office will be happy to provide you with information!

The best place to park your car is in the underground parking garage directly beneath the market square. The Medebach-Marktplatz bus stop is right next door.
