Mining has been carried out in Ramsbeck since the turn of the first millennium. The effects of this activity can still be seen today in the form of architectural remnants. Since mining operations ceased in 1974, Ramsbeck has developed into a beautiful vacation destination.

From the Bestwig train station, take the R72 bus (toward Wasserfall) and get off at Ramsbeck, Post. After a 10-minute walk, you'll reach the start of the mining trail.
