The sheer success of circulation is just as suspicious to arrogant avant-gardists as it is to the dwindling educated middle classes. The history of the Word Festival also proves it - there were always continents of language that were not entered. So off to new genre shores!
Wolfgang Hohlbein is one of the rulers in the realm of entertainment literature. He has written 160 books, reached the dizzying figure of 35 million copies, has been translated into 34 languages and a number of his works have been made into films - including his 1995 reinterpretation of the Nibelungen saga "Hagen von Tronje", which was released in cinemas last year.
