Thursdays on the market square: Streetkings

Five thoroughbred musicians on a mission to take rock on the road. To this end, they have mounted all their equipment on specially manufactured handcarts for maximum mobility. Each "cart" draws the necessary power from a 12-volt car battery - real road sound! For 17 years, "The most mobile band in the world" has been touring the country with their vintage fire engine as a musical quick-response troupe from their home base in Dortmund, bringing their sound not only to the streets, but also to a wide variety of events. From beach parties and city festivals to gala evenings and company summer parties in the garden. Due to the fact that the STREETKINGS do not need a stage or any other infrastructure, they are virtually unbeatable as a mobile band for street and city festivals, but can also be used very well for advertising campaigns and openings, as all band members are ready to play in 30 seconds. Of course, everything can also take place on a large stage. With a light show and sound system, there is no limit to the size of a STREETKINGS event. The repertoire is always adapted to the occasion, drawing from a rich pool of pieces and musical styles: from jazz to heavy metal, everything is included, always authentic, handmade and, despite all professionalism, presented with a lot of enthusiasm.
