What is therapeutic fasting?
Therapeutic fasting is a time-limited, conscious food break in which solid food is largely omitted. Instead, light, nutrient-rich liquids such as vegetable broths, herbal teas and water are consumed. This gives the digestive system a break so that the body can channel its energy into regeneration and detoxification.
