30 years ago, a band was formed in the Hochsauerland district that sang in German, contrary to the zeitgeist of the time, and whose lyrics were also political and progressive.
"Not typical Sauerland" you could say, but it was precisely this difference that brought the band gigs all over Germany at the time, as well as cult status in their home region.
After several crises, line-up changes and breaks, a man from the geographical south took over the microphone of the quartet in the year one after Corona: Hardy S. Party, who also brought his own repertoire to the group, which at that time still consisted of Mike Slodowski on guitar and Felix Müller on drums. And while the bassist carousel was still spinning, the musical quantum leap happened in this combination: the new line-up with two fat guitars moved away from punk and closer to classic rock, with elements of funk, pop, metal and sometimes even hip-hop merging into a sound that the band calls evolution) rock. As the personalities have matured, so have the lyrics: the band confronts the issues of ecology, distributive justice, war and right-wing populism. Escapism: not a thing. And consistently, they don't hide behind Anglicisms, but continue to sing in their native language.
Euphoric from their own creative pressure wave, the quartet released their first live album "lebendig auf dem Paradiesvogelfest" on red and black vinyl within a very short space of time. Two of the tracks have since been given much-clicked music videos, one filmed in a Hamburg bar, one against the wonderful backdrop of Ibiza. T-shirts, hoodies, beanies and other fan articles with the new logo showing the hollowed-out planet Earth were quickly produced - welcome to the present, welcome to reality, welcome to the stones!
