Sabine and Frank believe they have found the perfect gift for mother Gisela. She has been wanting a hot air fryer for a long time. But shortly before the party, the couple are surprised to discover that neither of them has bought one. Instead, Sabine had relied on her husband and he had relied on her. Frank quickly drives to the electronics store to get hold of one just before closing time, but in the meantime her mother has arrived and brought her own brand new hot-air fryer. Numerous punchlines and crazy twists ensure that the comedy carousel really gets going. This turbulent Christmas comedy turns a harmless evening into absolute chaos, threatening to ruin the entire festivities in the end. But who is actually to blame for the whole disaster?
