Friday from Munich to the Ruhrgebiet, visit grandma, talk to the estate agent to organize the sale of the old colliery house, meet a few old acquaintances and then off we go. Stefan's plan is absolutely clear. But suddenly he is back in the middle of the memories and surrounded by everyone who has always been a part of his life: Grandma Luise, the boys who immediately take him back, Toto, Diggo, Karin and, above all, Charlie - his sandbox love. With every encounter, with every event, with every new craziness, the idea matures that Stefan should reconsider some of his life decisions. With "Sommerfest", Frank Goosen has written a hilarious Heimat novel full of lovable characters that we all know and whose normality sparks a longing for the core of our lives. After the adaptation by Sönke Wortmann, "Sommerfest" will also be performed as a stage play, sending the audience back to their own youth and allowing them to reminisce

There will be an introduction to the play with Linda Keil & Lasse Schulte in the auditorium at 7.15 p.m.
