Every second Thursday of the month, the Krammarkt takes place on the Rathausplatz and Marktplatz (between 7 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.). Visitors can find many things here that they would have to search long and hard for elsewhere: from textiles and household goods to fabrics, leather goods, foam rubber, spices, brushes and special fasteners. The goulash cannon with its traditional pea soup is also very popular. Many market visitors queue up here in the morning to get their fill on the spot or take a portion home with them.
