50 years of the Bad Sassendorf moor and brine spa
Moor baths in the past - moor packs today. Brine as a healing drinking cure in the past - aerosols in the low-allergen salt grotto today. Horse riding and archery in the spa park in the past - adventure golf and line dancing today. Bad Sassendorf's spa history has exciting stories to tell and has undergone a fluid structural change.
To mark the 2025 anniversary, the exhibition offers a look back at 50 years of the state-certified moor and brine spa Bad Sassendorf. In addition to the recognized remedies of mud and brine, the show also focuses on Bad Sassendorf's characters who have contributed to the positive development of the spa town and conveys the voices of popular hosts. Exhibits from the spa's history, personal stories and photographs from 50 years of spa history make for a varied and sometimes curious show for all the senses.
Lively and rich in Westfalen anecdotes, the spa business of yesterday, today and tomorrow is illuminated. As part of the anniversary, there will be further Bad Sassendorf events on the topics of moor and brine for prevention & rehabilitation with up-to-date information & taster offers.
