Shadows over the void

From Bram Stoker to Edgar Allen Poe and Heinrich Heine, the great Katharina Thalbach breathes life into the selected fairy tales and (horror) stories with her expressive voice. Her immense sense of humor, passionate performance and linguistic brilliance are her faithful and reliable companions. Together, Katharina Thalbach and the acoustic formation of the rock band "The Beauty of Gemina" celebrate stories from the spooky world of the fantastic, with world literature of black romanticism. Born in East Berlin, the artist is one of the most dazzling personalities in the theater and film industry. She comes from a theatrical family and has been performing on stage since the age of five. Her rich and successful work has been recognized with many prizes and awards at home and abroad. For example, she is a two-time recipient of the Federal Cross of Merit and winner of the Adolf Grimme and Bavarian Television Awards. She was Actress of the Year and received the special prize of the German Audiobook Publishers. Katharina Thalbach was honored with the "Officier des Arts et Lettres" for her services to French culture.

This event is accompanied by a free introduction to the play by Linda Keil and Lasse Schulte.
