"This is the night of our youth!" In the morning, the five school friends received their school-leaving certificates and now the graduation ball is to end their school days together before they all go their separate ways the next day. What begins as an evening full of nostalgia develops into a symbolic journey in which the five friends fight their inner "monsters" in order to face their future. But what remains when the friendship crumbles and all certainties disappear? The small ensemble under the direction of Ms. Lepping shows that things get out of hand and after that night nothing is as it was before. The coming-of-age story written by Sarah Jäger looks unsparingly behind the façade of social expectations and sheds light on the challenges.
