Raoul Schrott (*1964) is a literary polymath who has explored the realm of language as an author and translator to its very limits, masterfully crossing the boundaries between art and science. On this evening, he will decipher the writing of the heavens. In a fantastic volume published by Hanser-Verlag in 2024, Schrott collected the star myths of all peoples who saw the first and deepest history book in the celestial constellations. Schrott will not only retell these myths, he will lead us on large projected historical sky maps to the constellations that inspired them and guide us to the origins of human storytelling.
