Kratzen honored us at our very first concert evening in 2022 at Jakobikirche Lippstadt and we are very happy that they are coming to Lippstadt again. Back then, they had only just released their debut album and have now recently released their third album, "III". Kratzen remain true to themselves. Repetitive - motoric - stoic - reduced - Kratzen only play the bare essentials. Founded in Cologne in 2017, the trio combines krautrock and new wave. They call it Krautwave.

FOTOKILLER (Post Punk, Berlin)
...are the perfect complement to Cologne's Krautwavern.
A sheer endless, tearing maelstrom that draws the listener into the depths of the past and in the next moment hurls them back into the here and now of the sometimes difficult to bear present. The sound of the Berlin band Fotokiller clearly borrows from the Post-Punk era of the 80s without merely indulging in nostalgia and wallowing in the past. Existential fears about the future, love - what else - and the struggle for mental health in an everyday life characterized by efficiency between concrete walls are the themes behind the songs.
