"50 years of moor and brine spa" - Bad Sassendorf has held the state-approved title since 1975, and a lot has happened since then. The moor as a natural remedy has moved a little into the background - moor packs and moor kneading are still offered in the Börde Therme.
In part 1 of our "Moor & more" event, we would like to show you where the moor or peat comes from and in what other ways the moor is of importance to us today and cordially invite you to the Woeste moor and nature reserve.
In cooperation with the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Biologischer Umweltschutz im Kreis Soest e.V. (ABU), we have put together an exciting program of lectures, guided tours and workshops on site to bring you closer to the moor in all its facets.

On Sunday, 29.06. a program to celebrate the predicate is then planned in the spa park around the Gradierwerk and in various health facilities.
