Verena Altenberger and Mavie Hörbiger read powerful texts about women who leave, quit, no longer play a part. The two famous actresses begin the evening with the French author and filmmaker Virginie Despentes, read from Ingeborg Bachmann's classic story "Undine geht" and quote fragments from "Der Ring des Nibelungen" in an adaptation by Necati Öziri. The duo will be accompanied musically by Clara Frühstück on two pianos. The music ranges from techno beats to sounds that are in no way inferior to a Wagner orchestral piece and underlines the emotional depth of the texts. An evening that blurs the boundaries between the sublime and the fragile and transports the audience into a fascinating world of literary and musical art.
This event is accompanied by a free introduction to the play by Linda Keil and Lasse Schulte.
Begins at 6.15 pm in the auditorium.
