The Sestetto Stradivari, consisting of members of the Orchestra dell' Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, was founded in December 2001 on the occasion of a concert invitation to the international exhibition "L'arte del Violino". This first successful performance, in which the ensemble played exclusively on Stradivari instruments, laid the foundations for a successful international career. The sextet's unique interplay is characterized by harmony and palpable musical passion.
Concerts in its home country of Italy are of particular importance to the Sestetto Stradivari. The ensemble regularly performs at renowned festivals and events. The ensemble regularly performs in the major concert halls in Europe, the United States and Asia.
