A hike along the Haarstrang with a stop for refreshments
The Möhnesee and the Hanseatic town of Soest are well known - but what lies dormant there? Discover it on this half-day tour! The tour starts at the dam wall with a short guided tour. The route then leads through Westrich and over the ridge of the Haarstrang to Theiningsen, past wayside shrines and St. Agatha's Chapel. At the municipal border with Soest, the special features of a former border settlement are explained. A section of the cultural hiking trail takes you through the Oberbörde to Meiningsen to the oldest church in the Soest Börde, St. Matthias.
