Captivating dance art meets visual power: this expressive homage to Frida Kahlo makes stages of her life tangible on stage - sensual, powerful, surprising.
As in a guided exhibition, dance and images tell of Frida Kahlo's eventful life - between pain and passion, art and cultural identity.

The dance show is dedicated to the work and fate of the famous Mexican painter. It shows the beauty and challenges of her life, expresses her passionate relationships, brings the carnival atmosphere to life and provides impressive insights into a fascinating culture.

Choreographer Eva Duda combines modern dance forms with elements of the new circus, urban and traditional folk dance. Her production looks at Frida's life from a contemporary perspective and brings the colors, emotions and contrasts of Mexico to the stage.

The choreography gives the waves of emotion that shaped Frida's life a modern face - strong, courageous, uncompromising.

For International Women's Day - in cooperation with the equal opportunities officers in the district of Soest.
With the kind support of Sparkasse Hellweg-Lippe.

Free introduction to the play at 6.15 pm in the auditorium by Linda Keil and Lasse Schulte.
