"A million minutes"
Simply leaving everyday life behind for a few weeks, a few months or even a few years. A few years ago, the couple Vera and Wolf Küper made their dream come true and traveled around the world with their two young children for almost two years. This star-studded German film "One Million Minutes" with Karoline Herfurth and Tom Schilling is based on their story.
The plan comes about after an argument. Their marriage is in crisis and, like most couples, the two protagonists find themselves in the unfortunate dilemma of juggling everyday life and feeling that they can no longer do life justice. When their daughter Nina is diagnosed with developmental delay, the parents realize that something has to change fundamentally.
