All cycling and nature enthusiasts are invited to a tree bike tour. Our city guide will talk about the development of local fruit growing using the example of the apple.

The approximately three-and-a-half-hour bike tour starts at the town hall square and first leads to a former orchard meadow, where you can take a break among the more than 30 different varieties of apple trees. During the subsequent visit to Cappel Abbey, the experienced city guide and apple lover explains what a meadow orchard actually is and how to look after your apple trees.
After an excursion through the meadow orchards still preserved today and the myths and legends of the apple on the farm of the farmer Nölke, the tour ends at today's Floreana country market. Here you can explore the modern apple orchard. The tour then returns to the starting point.
