The guided tour through Lippstadt as a Fairtrade town shows interested participants the development from a medieval trading settlement and Hanseatic town to today's business center with the Fairtrade town award for fair trade. The topics of fair trade, sustainability and international trade relations are explained, as well as the importance of fair trade at local, regional and international level. Guests learn specifically where they can find fair and sustainable products in Lippstadt, e.g. food, cosmetics and textiles.
The city tour lasts around 90 minutes, starting at the town hall and ending at Café Apotheke Deli Kaffee with small samples and information material.
