Two-hour hike on the Berghotel Hoher Knochen with a mulled wine break at the picturesque hunting lodges and finishing with waffles and hot drinks by the campfire at the Berghotel Hoher Knochen. On the 5-kilometer hike around and up the Hoher Knochen, we experience all the highlights that this beautiful panoramic mountain has to offer and have a good time.
Our tour starts at the Berghotel Hoher Knochen above Westfeld, where we can all park. We start at 2 p.m. and soon reach the idyllic hunting lodges via a beautiful trail, where we will take a break. Mulled wine or punch and Christmas cookies await you here. After a long, moderate climb, we reach the highest point of the tour, the summit of the Hoher Knochen. From here, you have a unique view of the mountains and hills of Hochsauerland, and we are happy to take some time to take photos and pause for a moment. Several narrow favorite trails then bring us back down to the Berghotel Hoher Knochen, where we finish with waffles and hot drinks around the campfire.
