Carag (Emile Cherif) may be a normal boy, but he is hiding a secret: in truth, he is a shape-shifter. While one half of him is human, his other half is that of a mountain lion. He actually grew up in the wilderness, but since he was separated from his family, he has had to live among normal people in an institution for boys. One day he finds out about Clearwater High, a boarding school where so-called woodwalkers like him can go to school normally. Once there, he feels at home for the first time in his life. He quickly makes new friends with Holly the red squirrel (Lilli Falk) and Brandon the bison (Johan von Ehrlich). Carag can definitely use some good friends, because the world of the shape-shifters is mysterious and full of dangers that are best not faced alone (Germany 2024, adventure/family/fantasy, 104 min., FSK 6).
