Apple festival in Bad Waldliesborn

The apple is one of the most popular fruit varieties in Germany, and the choice of varieties is enormous. In addition to the well-known varieties such as Elstar, Jonagold and Gala, many apple lovers are interested in traditional and rediscovered apple varieties such as James Grieve, Goldparmäne, Graue Herbstrenette and Gravensteiner. There are around 30,000 apple varieties worldwide. At the apple festival in Bad Waldliesborn, which takes place on September 13 and 14, numerous apple varieties will be presented. The festival is accompanied by a colorful supporting program for the whole family. The arts and crafts market, the pomologists' association and many other great family activities await at the Haus des Gastes and on the Kurhaus forecourt.
