The Cologne-based artist, who is a household name with her hit "Kribbeln im Bauch" (Tingling in the Belly), dedicates herself to German Christmas rituals and stories about last-minute presents, the obligation to shovel snow, goose stuffing and Christmas trees between the tinsel and fire insurance.
Accompanied by Peter Grabinger on the grand piano, Pe Werner strolls entertainingly through a winter wonderland of pop, jazz and chanson from her own pen and Christmas classics in Pe's own arrangements.
Pe Werner has been honored with numerous awards and prizes such as the Golden Record, the GEMA Lyricist Award, the Golden Tuning Fork, two Echos and the German Jazz Award.
She recently performed her "Weibsbilder" program at the Stadttheater.
