Visit to the Ruhrverband fish farm
The Ruhrverband has been breeding fish in Körbecke since the 1960s, which are used to stock the Möhnesee and for species conservation projects. Around 12 million juvenile fish, consisting of the six fish species pike, lake trout, lake char, vendace, burbot and grayling, are now bred and later stocked every year.
If you would like to look over the shoulder of the Ruhrverband during this work, this guided tour will introduce you to the modernized fish breeding station and give you an in-depth insight into fisheries management on the Westfalen Sea. An exciting experience not only for anglers.
