"Hear my prayer, oh Lord" - Ensemble sine Nomine
Sacred concert with voice and wind ensemble

The Ensemble sine Nomine was founded in spring 2024 by Susanne Lamotte and comprises around 15 experienced singers. They have set themselves the task of working on challenging choral literature from different eras. They want to open up exciting and varied sound spaces in a chamber music setting by forming different styles with their corresponding different timbres and stylistic means into bodies of sound.
Together with a wind ensemble under the direction of Siegmar Paschkewitz, they have put together a spiritual concert program around the theme of faith, prayer and praise to God. Under the title "Hear my prayer, oh Lord", they would like to offer a possible counterpoint to these troubled and uncertain times, inviting us to rest, reflect and be confident with works from various eras, including Monteverdi, Schütz, Reger and Brahms.
